Wallnut Zeorich SBR (Styrene butadiene rubber) is a unique Eco-friendly polymer liquid-based synthetic rubbers to provide excellent compressive & flexural strength, high adhesion to cement surfaces when used as a slurry coat and also act as a water-resistant coating for wet areas. It can be added to all types of cement mortar and concrete as a replacement of water in part or full.

The mortar or concrete prepared with Zeorich SBR are flowable, non-shrink, crack resistant and require limited curing. Most suitable for industrial floors, plasters & screed, a bond coat for concrete & as a water-resistant coating for wet areas. Suitable for Internal & external.

• When using Zeorich SBR as slurry or primer coat on cement-based dry surfaces or at external temperature, splash sufficient water to reduce the shock and surface temperature.

  Let surface dry and then start the application. In normal course too, splash the water to regulate the surface absorption.
• Expansion joint in concrete must be respected.

• When used in pure form, Zeorich SBR directly can be mixed with concrete, screed or plaster as a replacement for water.

Processing

The substrate areas that will be in contact with the sealant must be clean, dry and free of all loose material, dust, dirt, rust, oil and other contaminants. Non-porous substrates should be cleaned with a solvent and a clean, lint-free, cotton cloth. Remove residual solvent before it evaporates with a fresh clean, dry cloth.

For application from cartridges cut thread open, fix nozzle on top and cut to required bead size. The sealant can be applied in beads or layers. It requires moisture in order to cure. The curing time can take longer at lower temperatures, lower humidity or by low volume of air exchange.

It is the responsibility of the user to test the compatibility of the sealant with the adjoining materials. Incompatible substances like coating materials (paints, varnishes and glazes) or organic plasticizer containing rubbers (EPDM, butyl and neoprene) can lead to discoloration or other impairments like loss of adhesion of the sealant. Materials in direct contact with the applied sealant like cleaning agents and materials in indirect contact like gaseous emissions can damage the sealant in its function or change its appearance.

Because of the multitude of these materials, Wacker cannot make a general statement to the compatibility of materials with the sealant. In case of doubt the user shall conduct appropriate preliminary tests.

The use of tooling agents should be avoided if possible. Otherwise, water or a diluted solution of a little neutral soap or alcohol in water should be sparingly applied.
